Superior Energy and Control Completes Large Audit Engagements
Superior Energy and Control recently completed two major audit engagements that highlight our capacity and expertise.
We successfully completed a lighting audit for Hill Air Force base in Utah, surveying roughly 9 million square feel of space, including all areas and buildings, many of which were top secret spaces. This detailed audit required over 3500 man hours to complete, over a number of months. The base, in preparing for an upcoming energy efficient lighting retrofit required all areas to be surveyed, and a comprehensive lighting specification to be established for all existing lighting fixtures.
While still engaged with the Hill AFB lighting survey Superior Energy and Control also began a comprehensive lighting survey of the Metro Atlanta Transit Authority (MARTA). This project included all 101 buildings, transit stations, rail yards, Police precincts, office space and other areas of the system. The over 6 million square feet required 1500 man hours to complete. As with HAFB, Superior also built the specification for all line items of this large scale audit, engineering the energy plan, and building a comprehensive analysis of the cost savings and return on investment.
