On August 4th, 2017, after nine years of hard work, Superior Energy and Control, LCC closed on our new, permanent home. Soon after the closing was final our leadership team gathered at the new facility for an emotional reflection on our past and future. From humble beginnings, out of Michael and Miranda Jackson's garage, with a handful of hard working West GA men, Superior had finally obtained it's own office and warehouse facility in Tallapoosa, GA
The new building, consisting of 3000 SF of office and 12,000 sf of useable Warehouse space was pretty exciting as it stood. Remaining true to our culture, the next business day began what is to be a complete remodel of the office spaces, reorganization of the warehouse, and many improvements to the infrastructure and services. Most of the work is being done by our amazing team and has our normally not so quiet days filled with the organized chaos of our teammates tiling, painting, cleaning and moving material from our old facility.
The remodel and move-in will take a couple of weeks but the end product will be well worth the effort and sacrifice. We are very proud of both our humble roots, and grateful for the growth we've had over the years. The relationships and investments made into our success by the many amazing customers we so proudly serve, and the team of dedicated teammates are what make our continued success possible. So, as we reflect on where we are going, pat ourselves on the backs for the hard work to get here, we also wanted to say thank you. We will be sharing more updates as the remodeling proceeds through our grand opening sometime in September, but wanted to share this major event with all of our friends, family and collegues in the energy efficient lighting industry.
