If you want to keep your workers and visitors safe from COVID-19, you need to frequently disinfect surfaces in your workplace.
Alas, doing this by hand is time-consuming and disruptive. Worse, it increases the potential exposure of your staff to coronavirus.
Thankfully, there is a faster, easier, safer way to disinfect your workplace, and that is to use UV germicidal lights by Lumen Focus.
Why Choose Lumen Focus?
Lumen Focus has been manufacturing quality lighting products for decades. There are a lot of newcomers to the UV germicidal lamp market at this time. But Lumen Focus has the longstanding reputation and experience which these startups lack.
This company has built its rock-solid reputation around its safe, effective products as well as well as its customer-focused approach. So, you can feel confident purchasing Lumen’s UV lights.
Introducing UVFocus from Lumen Focus
Lumen Focus writes, “According to the International Ultraviolet Association, UV technology can play a role in reducing the transmission of COVID-19. UV is a disinfectant for air, water and surfaces. This technology has been used for many years now. We are introducing a new UVC products - the GUA series, and the GCD. When used correctly, these luminaries can help mitigate the risk of COVID-19 infection.”
You can use UVFocus lamps in a wide variety of settings including clinics and hospitals, labs, retail stores, offices, schools, hotels, warehouses, transportation centers and more.
Products to Consider
GUA
These low-wattage GUVT8 lamps are ozone-free and are designed to be mounted as upper air luminaries.
They include a number of safety features to protect humans and animals from ultraviolet light.
For one thing, the height at which you mount the GUA lamps prevents contact between passersby and UV light.
For another, the proximity sensor in each lamp switches it off automatically in the presence of motion. There is also a green indicator light which lets you know when the fixture is on.
GCD
Similar to the GUA series, GCD lights are designed to run when passersby are not present.
Unlike GUA lamps, GCD lamps are designed to be mounted right up against the ceiling.
As with the GUA light, the 254nm UVC GCD lamp is equipped with a sensor and will not run when it detects motion.
You can choose between a black or white powder coated finish, and add a steel housing if you wish to purchase it as an add-on.
FFLD/FFRD
The FFLD and FFRD products are near-UV lights rather than UV lights. The company explains, “Because the LEDs used in the FFLD and FFRD utilize a 405nm near-UV wavelength that is part of the normal visible LED spectrum, these products are completely harmless to humans and animals.”
Note that the GUA and GCD luminaries are able to kill viruses, but the FFLD and FFRD lamps only kill bacteria.
GAC/GAB
For a combined product that can tackle viruses and bacteria, consider the GAC light. Its near-UV down light runs continuously to get rid of bacteria without harming humans or animals. Meanwhile, fans pull air through a chamber where it is zapped with UVC light to kill viruses before pushing it back outside.
If all you want is the air chamber system to kill the viruses without the antibacterial down light, you can get the GAB instead.
