After months of coordination, Superior Energy and Control closed out a multi-month project at the Naval Construction Battalion Center in Gulfport Mississippi.  The 5000 fixture energy efficient lighting retrofit was successfully completed, in coordination with the Navy, in order to assure that their important work was not interrupted.

The Superior team, which managed to close out the project under budget, wrapped up work this week.  It was a privilege to have been involved with this project, and our team took its work very seriously.  While lighting is our business, doing our work in support of our countries military was an honor.

The NCBC Gulfport, along with our recent completion of the retrofit at the NASA facility in Cleveland OH, and our 6500 man hour audit engagement at the Hill AFB in Utah, reveal a growing expertise in Superior's ability to manage large, complex energy projects in the most challenging of environments.  We are excited by these accomplishments, while looking forward with anticipation, at the new opportunities the future will bring.

Superior Community Support

Superior Energy and Control recently partnered with one of our best customers to give back to our Georgia community.  Working with Groom Energy our team helped to provide energy efficient lighting at a school operated by Refugee Family Literacy.  This agency is made up of a passionate team of teachers, refugees, and volunteers dedicated to educating mothers and their families in the Clarkston, GA refugee community.

It was truly an honor to be involved with this project and we are especially proud of our team for their hard work.  We were also grateful to our partners at Groom Energy for asking us to support their service project and enjoyed working side by side with their team.  We love our daily work, but especially enjoy what we do when it provides the added benefit of serving our community.
